IBC’s National and Regional Contracts provide a platform for our Independent Distributors to work together to service national end user accounts and develop new business. In fact, 93 percent of all contract business is new business for IBC’s Independent Distributors.

How National/Regional Contracts work

When a distributor’s largest customer decides to pursue a national contract, IBC’s National and Minority Contract programs can help that distributor retain its end user relationship and increase profits. In response to a National Contract opportunity, a team of IBC Independent Distributors is formed based on the geographic coverage and product needs of each national/regional end user contract. This team is involved throughout the bidding process, from the development of contract terms and conditions to final negotiation of margins.

Rather than stacking similar distributors into one contract, IBC focuses on having one distributor represent a product category within its designated region.
