IBC began its national buying group to help local, independent industrial distributors compete on price against national “big box” companies. From the beginning, we carefully selected our distributors based on their technological capabilities, quality products and exceptional customer service. Many of our distributors are cut from the same cloth, spending generations mastering their crafts. They reflect the innovation, resilience and rugged determination that have characterized American industry.

Soon after the launch of our industrial supply division, our reputation for running a strong buying group and successful National Contract Program for independents began attracting specialized distributors from across multiple product verticals.  One by one, these distributors joined IBC’s network, expanding our supply chain expertise beyond our traditional base of industrial distributors.
